'Chub Rub' explores the idea of ownership surrounding the female body. From an Southeast Asian perspective, the work enquires about the nature of the fetishisation of womens bodies and the way in which this has been particularly highlighted as an asian woman living in the UK. It questions one's agency over our bodies' relationship with play, drawing on how the definitions and detriments of this word have shifted from childhood into adulthood, standing as both a playground and a fetish object.
